    When you arrive at our gallery, go to the registration desk to register for a bidder number. You will need to show a valid driver’s license and a major credit card. If you do not wish to use a credit card, you may also pay by cash or wire transfer.

  • Sign In to an existing account or Register for a new account.

    By Fax, Email, Mail or In Person:

    Print and complete our Bid Form (PDF) indicating your maximum bid on each lot, excluding the buyer’s premium. Lot numbers and a short description of the items should also be indicated on the form. Return this form to us by fax (828-254-6545), scan and email to info@brunkauctions.com or regular mail (P.O. Box 2135, Asheville, NC 28802). After the bid form has been received, you will be contacted via phone or email to confirm receipt, except on auctions days. Please allow sufficient time for surface mail.

    Be sure to sign and date the form on the signature line at the bottom. We require a Major Credit Card number to secure your absentee bid.

    Absentee bids left with us are executed confidentially and competitively. If your maximum bid is $500 and the bidding stops at $250, the lower price is the selling price to you. However, you must be prepared to go as high as your maximum bid. We never disclose to anyone any information about absentee bids.

  • During the auction, a member of our staff will call you about 3 minutes before the item comes up, and act as your proxy at the auction. We sell an item about every 45 seconds and you must be prepared to bid quickly. We sell in the numerical order indicated in the catalog, and we sell about 70-90 lots an hour. You must be prepared to bid the opening bid.

    Online:
    Sign in to an existing account or register for a new account. Click bid by phone. Enter preferred phone number, secondary phone number (not required), insurance bid (not required) and then click “Register Phone Bid”.

  • Print and complete the Bid Form. Send the form by mail (PO Box 2135, Asheville, NC, 28802), scan and email to info@brunkauctions.com or fax (828-254-6545). We reserve phones on a first come, first served basis. Bids must be received by the close of business on the evening immediately prior to the day of the auction. No telephone reservations are accepted unless this signed form is received. After the bid form has been received, you will be contacted via phone or email to confirm receipt, except on auctions days. Please allow sufficient time for surface mail.

    We require a Major Credit Card number to reserve a telephone, but you are not required to pay for purchases by credit card.

  • Sign In to an existing account or register a new account to place bids through our website.

    We are proud to offer both absentee and real-time online bidding through our website as well as through partner websites Bidsquare and LiveAuctioneers.

    To participate in our auction online, clients have three options:

    • Register and bid at Brunk Auctions; 20% buyers premium plus 3% credit card fee, if applicable
    • Register and bid at Bidsquare; 23% buyers premium plus 3% credit card fee, if applicable
    • Register and bid on LiveAuctioneers; 25% buyers premium plus 3% credit card fee, if applicable

  • Shipping options for your purchase:

    Please let us know how you will be obtaining your Lots.

    1. Pick-up in person: Brunk Auctions is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. (NC State sales tax applies unless there is a valid resale form on file or the lots are picked up by a licensed transport/shipping company).

    2. Transport of Lots: If you have arranged for a freight/shipping company to pick-up your lots at the auction house, please let us know (via email or phone) the name of the company. We need this information to release your items to the designated shipper.

    3. In-house Shipping: Brunk Auctions can provide an in-house shipping via UPS Ground (signature required) for many items. Brunk Auctions will provide a shipping quote which includes shipping, materials, labor and insurance. Insurance is based on the selling price and premium.

    To provide an accurate shipping quote please provide the following:

    Shipping address

    Shipping method: if you have a UPS or Fed Ex account # we can provide a quote for packing. (UPS shipping will require a label. Fed Ex will require an account number for 3rd Party billing)

    For International shipping: All International customs duties and other tariffs are the responsibility of the Buyer. The Auction House and the shipper will declare the selling price as the value in all cases.

    Shipping arrangements are made only after the invoice is paid. The payment for shipping is a separate charge from payment of your lots.
